Trevisan is a pioneer in contour head development and has specialized in high-performance CNC machining centers — specifically horizontal machining centers — for decades. Our DS Series delivers unmatched rigidity, repeatability, and multi-operation capability in a single setup.
Trevisan's horizontal machining centers feature a unique head design with two spindles — one for the spindle quill and another for the U-axis facing head. With milling and turning capabilities combined, the spindle head completes the entire machining process in a single setup, eliminating costly part transfers.
By holding the workpiece stationary and moving the machine around the part, Trevisan milling centers can machine a broader range of large, heavy, and complex products than conventional rotating-chuck equipment — ideal for flanges, pump bodies, and valve housings.
Integrating the facing head on a separate spindle with an independent quill gives the machining center an entirely new dimension — providing all the benefits of a lathe without the limitations. Bore offset diameters, contour profiles, and face complex geometries without re-chucking.
